It's that time again, where I look over my comic haul for the week because I randomly thought this was a good week to comment on the books I picked up ahead of time before I review them. Let's get into it...
Hulk #34
The last issue was good, and I imagine that will continue.
Irredeemable #26
This series gets crazier and crazier with the Plutonian breaking out of an inter-stellar mental-asylum and his former friends re-building earth from his rampage while one of them possibly goes just as insane as ol' Tony did.
DC Universe Online Legends #9
This has been a decent series so far, and I don't even play the video-game it ties in to.
S.H.I.E.L.D. #1
I just did review of the first volume of this series and found it promising if often confusing.
X-Factor #220
It's X-Factor. That is all that needs to be said.
Halcyon #5
The last issue in a very interesting mini-series about what happens to heroes when all the violence in the world stops.
Flashpoint #2
I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the first issue so I am excited to dive into this one.
Fear Itself #3
The other big event-comic. I really hope its good and I like it more than issue one and two.
Uncanny X-Force #11
It has Dark Beast in it and I love that evil little guy, so great writing aside I'm already sold.
Criminal: The Last Of The Innocent #1
One of the best crime comics out there.
Abyss: Family Issues #4
I was a fan of the previous two issues and have interviewed the creator so I'm interested in the conclusion of mini-series and hope for future stories with the characters!
Heroes For Hire #8
This has been a great series so far for reading about characters that don't always get the spotlight, and it has a big mystery that all the issues have been hinting at that I'm quite intrigued by.
Thunderbolts #158
Usually the best ensemble/team book on the stands (by Marvel, at least), and possibly one of the few I"ll be reading after I quit Avengers and possibly New Avengers.
Moon Knight #2
I mentioned this comic last because it is the one I am most eager to read--seeing as how I love Moon Knight--and I really want the series to do well.
