As readers of the blog are aware, I am excited for the Big River Comic Convention being held on April 13th, 2019 in Hannibal. It is the first time it has been held and the planning has been on-point for guests, vendors, and programming. It is interesting how I mentioned the flooding affecting areas in my post earlier today as the BRCC's initial location may not be safe to utilize due to this issue. Thankfully, the BRCC assured everyone a back-up location would be announced if needed and today it was declared the show will take place. It will be at the Tabernacle of Praise Recreational Complex (6400 Co Rd 445, Hannibal, MO 63401), which is a location with, "A massive stage, 2 levels, climate control, amazing parking and only approx 6-7 miles from our original location."
The BRCC Website has already been updated with directions to where the show will now be held as well as any alterations to the overall schedule. I am so pleased that the organizers were prepared for the possibility of this happening and that the show won't have to be delayed or cancelled. I continue to be super-excited for the Big River Comic Convention and encourage everyone who is able to buy a ticket and attend!
