I went to the Quad Con in Saint Charles today and had a great deal of fun! There were an immense number of vendors selling everything from comics, to toys, video-games, their own creations, and more! I saw a number of my awesome friends from John of Bigfoot Comics to Spike from Lost in Space Toys and Collectibles and the good folks of Tatetot Comics.
As I explored the show I ran into Bruce Reynolds (who always has fantastic stuff) and Tom Milster--both fantastic gents. Larry of Bugs Comics and Games had a ton of comics on offer as well. Magnitude 10 Comics was in attendance and had a slew of really neat comics for sale--they're always a pleasure to chat with. I also had a chance to catch up with Ria Leso, who had recently published the second issue of, "The Sleepless Ones." I'd highly encourage you to check her work out!
I had so much fun at Quad Con and am happy I was able to attend today. It brings me great joy that the Saint Louis/Saint Charles region is lucky enough to have so many delightful conventions during the year--you know I'm already pumped for the next Quad Con in Saint Charles on October 19th!
