I love Pumpkin Spice--there, I said it. People can joke that makes me, "Basic," or some kind of, "Lame white girl," but regardless of your weirdly sexist insults I still love pumpkin spice in almost anything. It can be a doughnut, some cider, or of course my beloved pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, and I'll be happy. It isn't surprising, considering how when I was growing-up I loved the flavor of Pumpkin, be it in a pie, some ice cream, or whatever else. I suppose it was a natural evolution for me to like the addition of the, "Spice," to make it pumpkin spice as I grew into the individual I am now. I truly love pumpkin spice in food items and refuse to apologize.
I don't always get why there is so much hate for those who enjoy pumpkin spice. Have people not tried it and seen how god-damn delicious it is mixed into assorted foodstuffs or beverages? Are these people who don't like pumpkin in general? Seriously, what gives? I don't know where all the negativity comes from, but while you all crack jokes I'll just be here enjoying my delicious latte.
That was pretty messed-up how Starbucks used the launch of the pumpkin spice latte to distract from a price-hike on other stuff though. Not cool, Starbucks, not cool at all.
