I noted two things as I watched the teaser trailer for, "Thunderbolts*," which was put online today. The first was that it looks quite fun with its random assemblage of not-heroes-not-quite-villains to create Marvel's version of a Suicide Squad. The second thing was being relatively surprised it doesn't give away the entire plot of the movie as more and more trailers seem to do lately (the AV Club noted that too). Check the teaser trailer out below:
We have until May of 2025 to know what exactly is happening in, "Thunderbolts*," and why it has that random asterisk in the name. I don't mind not knowing everything about a movie in advance, for once, and imagine people who get real uptight about spoilers-inserted-in-the-preview-itself are happy too. Plus, we get Bob! I assume that is Bob Reynolds AKA the Sentry, but time will tell. For now, I love him just saying how he's Bob in the trailer. Between how this looks entertaining and the upcoming, "Captain America: Brave New World," seems exciting, Marvel has some interesting-sounding stuff on the way!
